Arlington, Virginia Work Session on Ranked Choice Voting




On Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at 4:00pm, Arlington County Board will hold a work session with the Director of Elections in the County Board Room, 2100 Clarendon Blvd. 307, Arlington, VA 22201 to discuss the Commonwealth of Virginia's redistricting process (a once every 10-year process) and rank choice voting. The public is welcome to attend and observe the work session and convocation and certification for the closed session. The closed session is not open to the public. The meeting will also be available to watch on live stream in HD on Arlington TV's You Tube channel or broadcast on Arlington TV on Comcast Xfinity 25 or 1085(HD) and Verizon FiOS 39 & 40. Questions? In our current plurality voting system, the candidates in these elections may not win with a true majority. Ranked Choice Voting can give voters better results when there are three or more candidates!
