BREAKING NEWS: Ranked Choice Voting Bills Headed to Governor Northam's Desk!

HB506 and HB1103 pass Virginia Senate! These bills propose options for localities to adopt ranked choice voting for town councils and board of supervisors elections. The final step in the process of the bills being enacted into law, is signature from the Governor.

Thank you and so much gratitude to all the RCV enthusiasts who contacted and met with their representatives, the committed bill patrons & co-patrons, coalition of reform organizations who prioritized RCV as needed legislation, event co-hosts, and the media coverage from reporters from all across the Commonwealth.
