Loudoun County Residents Advocate for Ranked Choice Voting

On November 15th, FairVote Virginia members spoke at the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors meeting. They introduced the concept of RCV and it's merits, and explained why recent plurality election results for town councils and school boards were problematic. The speakers represented the issue and our non-partisan reform very well; tactfully and respectfully.

The speakers asked the Board to consider RCV for their own elections, and asked them to add the expansion of the RCV pilot to School Board a legislative priority for the upcoming Virginia General Assembly session.

The next Board of Supervisors meeting in Loudoun is December 6th. Let us know if you'd like help preparing for public comment.
