Virginia General Assembly is in Session

Virginia's Legislative Session started Wednesday. We know that there will be at least one bill proposing the expansion of Ranked Choice Voting. Stay tuned for talking points and upcoming action alerts!

Here is a link for Key Dates for the 2022 Session. Bills are still being filed and committees are being assigned. Our elected representatives are getting settled into the session.

RCV Day is an opportunity to introduce new people to ranked choice voting (RCV), a simple upgrade to our elections that allows voters to rank the candidates in order of preference rather than picking just one. We encourage you to post something on your own social media pages (or share FairVote Virginia content), and ask your friends to re-post it on theirs. The goal is to really go viral about RCV on 1/23.
